Amy has provided a variety of comprehensive strategic plans and guidance to her clients since 2004.  Amy helps her clients to make informed, sound decisions to achieve the highest level of prosperity with their business and personal assets.  She is the creator of The Financial Balance Process, and works predominately with entrepreneurs and business owners.   She began her career with C&A Financial Group of Manasquan, NJ. Amy started her own financial services firm in 2005 and recently restructured and renamed the firm Sonstein Financial Group in June 2007.

Prior to her work with individuals and small business as a Financial Representative, Amy spent approximately four years with a regional public accounting firm providing Forensic & Litigation Services.  Specifically, the majority of the analyses performed involve fraud investigations and litigation and/or insurance claims matters. Responsibilities were carried out through financial and forensic analysis of: financial statements and tax returns; general ledgers and other original books of entry; relevant contracts and agreements; and industry data.

Education

Amy graduated Magna Cum Laude from The George Washington University (1999) with a Bachelor’s of Accountancy Degree.  Her education has been supplemented by various continuing education courses offered by a variety of professional organizations.
